Justice participated in the American Red Cross Great Escapes contest and was the winner from Bel Air. Her prize was getting to ride to school in a fire truck! In order to be considered to win the contest, she had to draw a plan of how to escape from a fire in her house. It had to include 2 ways out of every room and where all the smoke alarms were. Way to go Justice!
Sergeant Chad Reiman visited with Mrs. Myers’ 2nd grade class on May 7. He discussed the various jobs of a police officer. He gave examples of the types of calls they respond to. He showed students all of the tactical gear that he may have to wear, and students even got to try some of it on! Then he took the class outside to see his car. He turned the lights and sirens on, which was a highlight! The class enjoyed Sergeant Reiman’s visit and is very thankful that he came!
