The Norfolk High DECA club conducted a contest in the SSR/Advisory classes as a challenge to see which advisory could raise the most money for the US 92/St. Judes Children’s Hospital Radiothon conducted in late February. The top 3 advisories received prizes from a pizza party, donuts/juice, and candy/juice. The DECA Club is a marketing/management club for those students interested in careers in those areas. The sponsor is Kelly Krueger, a business/marketing teacher at Norfolk High.
All total $1060 was raised and a check was presented to Dave Amick, Program Director/Morning Show Host and Kristi Green, Morning Show Host. The students in the photo are members of the DECA club and members of the 2nd Period Marketing class which put on the contest.
